English CV Anastasia Voltchok, painter et pianist

Russian born pianist and artist Anastasia Voltchok grew up in Moscow, in a family of musicians and art lovers.

Anastasia studied in Moscow, Basel and Washington D.C. where she was awarded her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in 2005. Beside the busy concert life her biggest sorce of joy and inspiration is painting.

She is always on the road, and her many travels to world metropoles with today‘s hectic life styles influence her art. And the music that accompanies her from a very early age, vibrates in one or another tonality from each of her paintings.

Anastasia exhibited her works in the House of Artists on Malaya Dmitrovka in Moscow ( 2006 ), in Laurel, Maryland, USA ( 2008 ) and in Basel at the Manu-Art gallery ( 2009 ).

As a pianist Anastasia Voltchok tours with Valery Gergiev and the Mariinsky orchestra of St Petersburg, Mikhail Pletnev and Bamberger Symphoniker, Mario Vanzago and Indianapolis Symphony, Orchestra della Swizzera Italiana, Zurcher Kammerorchester, London Mozart Players, as a recitalist in Tonhalle , Zurich, Lincoln Center, New York, Gulbenkian, Lissabon, Sanata Cecilia, Rome, Victoria Hall, Geneva.

Anastasia Voltchok is a winner of Young Artists Awards in San Angelo, Texas, Senigallia International Piano Competition and Gold Medalist of the 2003 World Piano Competition in Cincinnati, USA.

She appears on TV and Radio, among others, Swiss Radio DRS, France Musique, RAI TV, Italy, in Russia, England and the USA.
